An installation and performance in the Library am Luisenbad for the Poesie Fest “Printemps des Poètes“ (Berlin-Wedding, march-april de 2010) with 17 “sessiz“ or chairs-poems by:

and a composition from Frank Helfer which was performed during the opening.
17 sessiz: 17 participants from different professional fields + 17 poems in different languages + 17 white chairs. All participants received a poem in a language they couldn't understand nor pronounce. They worked it out over a chair in black and white. The impression, what those foreign signs evoked was the only help for the spatial 'transcriptions'.
To feel the limitation; to work with an incompressible and unpronounceable text; to become more conscious of the interrelations between Writing and Language, Sign and Signification.
At the end the results were exposed for 2 months in a library, where the visitors could appreciate the reflection and the intern fight of this special creation procedure.
